A Phase I/IIa study titled “A Dose Ranging Pilot Study to Assess Intracerebroventricular (ICV) Delivery of Valproate in Subjects with Focal Seizures, with Temporal Lobe Onset with or without Secondary Generalization” was our first study evaluating the safety and efficacy of valproate delivered to the ICV for the treatment of refractory epilepsy.
